AS Colour
THE SHIRT
Every design we make is printed on the AS Colour Staple 5001.
Plenty of brands our size use whatever their print partner has cheapest that week so you get a different weight, a different neck and a different fit depending on which design you ordered. We'd rather you knew exactly what turns up.
IT'S A REGULAR FIT
The Staple is a regular fit. Straight body, set-in sleeves, hem sitting just below the hip bone. It is not oversized, not boxy, not cropped.
Want the oversized look? Size up one. Want it closer? Size down. Either way, check the size chart first.
WHO MAKES IT
AS Colour started in an Auckland garage in 2005 and is now one of the biggest blank apparel makers in the world. Being a New Zealand company counts with us.
They don't manufacture here, and we're not going to imply otherwise. Their factories are in Bangladesh, China, Vietnam, Thailand and Mauritius, and they publish the full list on their site along with the audits; WRAP Gold, Oeko-Tex, GOTS, ISO. Baptist World Aid's 2024 Ethical Fashion Report put them in the top 20% of the brands it assessed.
HOW IT'S PRINTED
To order. Nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing gets binned at the end of a season.
It also means it takes a few days longer than a shirt that was already made. We'd rather tell you that now than after you've paid.
